Who is Alliander & Liander?

Alliander is a network company comprising a group of companies. Together, we stand for high-quality knowledge of energy networks, energy technology and technical innovation. Liander is a network operator who keeps the energy distribution through all our networks in good condition.

What does Alliander do?

Alliander contributes to affordable energy systems in Germany and helps neighborhoods to use energy smartly. As a network company, Alliander is responsible for the distribution of energy such as electricity, (bio)gas and heat. We don’t produce or trade energy ourselves. This is done by energy suppliers, buyers and traders.
