As I said, I have solar (1400 watts). The original Monaco supplied panel is now dedicated to just the Chassis battery. The remaining are all dedicated to the house batteries. When the engine is running, the alternator charge only the Chassis batteries. When on Shore or generator power my inverter charger charges only the house batteries.

The inside switch by the entry door was okay and worked fine. The Monaco Tech person I had called on the phone said to simply remove the HD Red battery lead from the one side and mount it to the other lug where the second HD Red cable is attached. Power would go out at the resort, try to start it, get wump, wump wump, and nothing. Sometimes it will start if I use battery boost, sometimes it will start if I start the coach and then use battery boost, but not always.
