Our advanced solar-powered systems harness the abundant energy of the sun to power water pumps, delivering a reliable and eco-friendly water supply for farms and agricultural operations in Cameroon. Let’s explore the benefits and features of our solar-powered water pumping service..
The Solar water pump experience is a system that involves directly coupling a small DC electric pump to a single solar panel, without any battery or controller. This allows a farmer to have constant running water from a pipe throughout the day, as long as the sun is shining..
A new study finds that standalone solar photovoltaic irrigation systems have the potential to meet more than a third of the water needs for crops in small-scale farms across sub-Saharan Africa..
This article examines the impact of implementing a solar irrigation system on livestock production in North Cameroon, a region marked by climatic challenges and increasingly dry conditions. [pdf]

Women Empowerment through Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency (REEE)-Powered Decentralised Lift Irrigation Systems in Bhutan (WERELIS – Bhutan), a project funded by International Development Research Center (IDRC), Canada, is to be jointly implemented by ICIMOD and the Department of Energy, Royal Government of Bhutan..
The project aims to install 30 MW of solar PV and strengthen the regulatory environment to accelerate Bhutan’s renewable energy market, fully realising its solar energy plan of 1000 MW as planned by the government in the current five-year plan (2024-2028)..
The objective of the assignment is to upgrade and modify an existing solar lift irrigation system by ùi ú integrating a grid-connected inverter; ùii ú adding a pump and additional solar array to the system; and ùiii ú providing training and support to the local community operator to operate and manage the system. Scope of Work.
The commissioning and inauguration of the 180kW grid-tied ground mounted solar photo-voltaic power plant marks the start of Bhutan’s investment in grid-tied solar energy as a viable alternative energy source in the face of soaring domestic demand and climate change. [pdf]

He pointed out a few benefits of PV systems over grass on pasture: the PV system can provide shade for cattle or sheep to rest underneath and because of higher soil moisture level, the shading will reduce irrigation expenses. For Japan, it will require about 2.5 million acres of land to supply Japan’s total electricity with PV..
floating solar panels. JAPAN'S APPROACH TO FLOATING SOLAR POWER GENERATION Kayamanuma Solar Power Plant (2.6MW) in Kuki City, Saitama Prefecture. India has a large number of reservoirs (farm ponds). It may be possible to use a similar model to promote the introduction of solar power..
Agrivoltaics expand community-based solar power genera on Japan’s FY2021 food self-suffi ciency rate by calorie supply basis was 38%. With countries like Canada (233%), Australia (169%) and the US (121%) all exceeding 100%, this puts Japan at the bo om of the list of the world’s major countries.*.
